PhD student at the history department of the University of Montreal, Brintha Koneshachandra is working under the supervision of Prof. Michèle Dagenais. Along with her affiliation to the COHDS, she is also a member of the McConnell Chair in American studies, holder of a Rosdev excellence scholarship for her thesis linked to the topic of environment, as well as a member of the IRTG Diversity doctoral school. Her passion for history also brought her to regularly intervene as a columnist for Histoire de passer le temps at choq.ca to talk about urban history, Tamil history, African-American and Black Canadian history.
