Jacob Mahfoud (he/they) is a Montreal-based filmmaker that is constantly looking for ways to engage with audiences from underprivileged groups. His videos and photos, shaped by his identity as a queer Lebanese immigrant shed a spotlight on social issues from an intersectional standpoint. Currently a student at Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University, he is seeking to develop a cinematic style that encompasses both narrative and non-narrative forms, influenced by his professional and educational background in engineering, as well as his long standing engagements with social justice, theater, and writing.
