In this workshop participants will learn and discuss strategies for preparing and showcasing their oral history research for the Web. Together with Antonia Hernández, they will analyze common scenarios and will look at different solutions for organizing and optimizing digital content.

Amina Jalabi will be presenting the Flash Forward Photovoice project, a participatory photography project whose mission is to empower young newcomers from Syria by telling us about their integration process in Canada through photography.

In this workshop participants learn strategies for recording audio during oral history interviews. We'll look at different microphones and what situations to use them, placement and wiring, setting levels and monitoring, and listening for and eliminating room noise.
