Christine Walley (MIT)

Dr. Walley is professor of Anthropology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is the author of Exit Zero: Family & Class in Postindustrial Chicago, an award-winning book published by the Chicago University Press, which uses family stories to explore deindustrialisation and its long-term impacts. Dr. Walley and director Chris Boebel also created a documentary based on her work from Exit Zero, a screening of which will be shown at the 2019 History in the Making conference.
