Intro to video editing with Premiere

This workshop will provide an introduction to video-editing software Adobe Premiere Pro. It will cover organisation of media assets, editing basics and exporting for web broadcast. This workshop is relevant to both beginners and people with experience editing using older editing software. The emphasis will be placed on taking advantage of the optimized workflows Premiere has made available in recent versions.

Philip Lichti is the Digital Media and Lab Coordinator at the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling. He provides support and training for video and audio postproduction in the lab using primarily the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite. He's also a multimedia producer and sound designer and has produced several audioguides in collaboration with COHDS.
