Transcribers needed for oral history project on nursing

COHDS is looking to hire four university students to prepare English-language oral history transcripts over a short 3-4 week period in October/early November. This CIHR-SSHRC funded project uses story-sharing to explore ways that we might contribute to a cultural shift in nursing training and workplace culture in hospitals. The pilot project is with Holland-Bloorview Hospital, a children's rehabilitation hospital in Toronto. The transcribing of audio and video interviews will take place at the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling.

Please send your cover letter and CV to Philip Lichti (lab@cohds.com) by Wednesday, October 4th

Pay will be $20-$25 dollars per hour, based on the union pay scale at Concordia University tied to educational level. Experience with oral history interviewing and transcription is strongly preferred.
