Chant.iers Féministes | D'Est en Ouest: Partitions d'Afrique Vol.2

Avec / With Sandra Gasana

On February 14th, D’Est en Ouest embraces a cause! In collaboration with the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling (COHDS) at Concordia University, and Espace Mushagalusa, D'Est en Ouest will be having a concert for a feminist future where better listening skills can reduce inequalities and marginalization. We believe that a songs are means of transmitting life stories, our thoughts and our feelings. A range of musical expressions, between East and West Africa, enriched by Brazilian sounds, give birth to a unique repertoire which will be accompanied by visual arts and poetry. We could not have chosen a better date to meet again with love around this theme and to honor Black History Month. Come celebrate diversity with us!
